Project Manager - Construction Hospitality

We have an immediate opening for a Construction Project Manager specializing in Hospitality and Assisted Living. 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish project budgets
  • Negotiate and award subcontracts
  • Write subcontracts
  • Write purchase orders for major purchases and long lead items
  • Oversee submittal process
  • Primary contact for all job-related issues
  • Primary individual for written communication with subcontractors and clients
  • Receive and review Superintendents' Daily Logs and RFI Logs
  • Maintain project CO Log and update Architect and Owner
  • Maintain active role in establishing change order pricing
  • Process change orders
  • Approve all site expenditures of Field Personnel
  • Review bimonthly budgets and track job costs
  • Approve all monthly billing percentages
  • Oversee billing process
  • Review and resolve potential billing issues
  • Follow up on any client payment delays
  • Approve all project payments
  • Receive and review schedule updates from General Superintendent
  • Aware of key scheduling issues and pertinent construction issues
  • Aware and involved with all underachieving Subcontractors
  • Directly manage all 48 Hour Notices and subsequent supplementation
  • Accountable for financial results of the project
  • Attend all critical project meetings
  • Maintain awareness of clients overall satisfaction with the project
  • Oversee project closeout
  • Coordinate and hold pre-construction meeting
  • Coordinate and hold internal project close-out and review meeting

 

Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in hospitality and/or assisted living construction project management.
  • Experience with projects ranging from $10-50 million
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Sage 300 CRE
