Assistant Estimator

Estimator Job Purpose: Prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements. Specific tasks will include determining subcontractor requirements then soliciting and analyzing subcontractor quotations, clarifying bid documents via RFI’s, estimating self performed work and comparing values to historical data, procuring material quotes, coordinating bid delivery, evaluating market conditions and competition on each estimate.


Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years of estimating experience.
  • Experience bidding retail and restaurant construction projects.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using BidMail is a plus.
  • Knowledge of subcontractor base who bid retail and restaurant projects in the Southern California area.
